Comprehensive Examination

With our comprehensive examination, you will leave knowing exactly where your oral health stands, what needs attention, what does not, and what your options are. If treatment is recommended, you will receive a written treatment plan with clear fees before anything goes ahead.

The appointment includes:

• A full examination of your teeth and existing dental work
• Assessment of your gums and periodontal health
• Evaluation of your bite, jaw joints and areas of wear
• Screening of the soft tissues of the mouth
• Standard diagnostic radiographs where required
• An OPG panoramic radiograph where clinically appropriate
• Clinical photographs where clinically useful
• Discussion of all findings and treatment options
• A written treatment plan with priorities and clear fees

This appointment is recommended for new patients, patients with several concerns, or anyone considering restorative, cosmetic, implants or more complex dental treatment. It is also the necessary first step for anyone wishing to have Dr Linda manage their ongoing dental care, as a complete picture is the only sound basis for treatment over time.

Specific Concern Assessment

A specific concern assessment is best when you have one problem you would like Dr Linda to investigate and discuss treatment options for. It suits unexpected dental issues that need looking at promptly, or when you are in pain.

If you would like Dr Linda to get to know your mouth as a whole and map out your care in order of priority, a comprehensive examination is the better place to begin.

How Fees Work at Glow Dental

Every mouth is different and fair fees depend on an accurate diagnosis. This is why we do not quote for treatment before an examination. Before we have seen you, the most we can provide is a range. Once Dr Linda has assessed you, that range becomes a written treatment plan with the exact fee for each item, customized to your mouth, so there are no surprises at the front desk.

As a guide, our examination fees and common treatment starting points are:

• Comprehensive examination: $195
• Specific concern assessment: $99
• General hygiene clean : from $240
• Periodontal therapy: starts from $500 per session

Payment plans are available through Nova Medical Finance and Q Card. Staging treatment over time is often possible. Please raise cost concerns with us – planning around a budget is something we do regularly, and it is always better than delaying care..
